Over £7 for a small fig and cheese tart with 'salad'...the salad was actually a few leaves (no dressing, no tomatoes etc.. weird). Tasted more like a dessert.
Tea took ages as there was a new employee on the till, the more experienced/older member of staff seemed to think this was a good idea to let her work it while she made the drinks.....que was huge by the time we sat down.
I understand from the previews few comments that staff were being made redundant and were not permitted to do certain jobs.
Bad idea John Lewis....take a look at other floors where staff focus and simple work ethics have gone kaput.
I'm no snob but i know how to do the right thing.
Please get in someone who can save this place.
