  Absolutely frightening!
  
  I am a doorman/bouncer, on my way back for the venue that i work at have to walk past The Bowery Club to head back in towards the centre of town to catch my bus home for the night.
  
  Tonight i witnessed the most shocking, disgusting and dangerous performance from the door team at The Bowery Club. From what i witnessed 2 teenage maybe early 20's lads were obviously drunk and had just been ejected from the venue and they were giving it the big mouth, it happens, i know it dose every night on the door for almost every venue.
  
  i walked up the opposite side of the street watching, there was 2 lads and there mate, this friend was trying to be the honest one and turn his 2 drunk friends away to end the altercation. But the bouncers were having non of it, there was approx 7 bouncers all at least twice if not three times the weight the the 3 lads and they were getting right up in there faces, spitting, pushing, shoving the lads in to the road which at the time happen to be busy with taxis as it was 2:30-3am. After maybe 5 mins of these lads being chased out on to the road and being pushed around like rag dolls a small stocky bald high pitch voiced bouncer decided to go throwing his weight around and tried to throw punches at the lads, at this point all 7/8 bouncers were involved against 3 lads and the doormen were just edging to be more and more violent.
  
  Eventually the police arrived and tried to do the best that they could to kill the situation as at that point all three lads just wanted out of the situation, whilst a police women did her up most do do her job, the small stocky bouncer was still at it and went straight in at one of the lads and headbutted him and the ran off back to the door of the venue.
  
  In my opinion all of the bouncers involved should be stripped of there badge's and sent on anger management courses as they made a dyer situation out of what could have easily been a 2 man job just sending the lads on there way, they dealt with the situation like old school thugs and had absolutely no sense of professionalism at all.
  
  I am sure the venue has all the right intentions, this experience will ensure that The Bowery Club will never get a recommendation from me and any of the venues on our strip and i will personally insist that the public, hen partys and stag partys and tourists do not attend this venue as it is unsafe and looked after by a group of thugs, and as you may have guessed i will never be going there.
  
  Also if you read through the last 23 google reviews they are almost all bouncer related, being thug like criminals. you would have thourght that the venue would attempt to reside this problem.
  
  Would advise to stay away at all costs as it is dangerous and unsafe.
